Just a little bit about me: I went to the University of Iowa where I majored in Elementary Education and a little over two years year ago I completed my Master's in Reading from Olivet Nazarene University. This past winter I received my certificate in special education from National Lewis University. I love to read, travel, and spend time at my family's lake house in the summer. I am not so big into chocolate, but LOVE sweet fruity candy like skittles and starbursts. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I live in the city and love to explore new restaurants, go to various street festivals, farmers markets, and museums. This is my sixth year teaching first grade in Norridge, seventh year teaching first grade, and prior to first grade I taught third grade for one year! I am excited and looking forward to a great school year!
